Over the 30-year span of our business here in Manchester, Vermont, we have had the opportunity to conduct auctions for a great variety of people and businesses both large and small. We have conducted hundreds of real estate auctions, conducted fine and important estate auctions and have also sold a huge variety of commercial property at auction.

The most recent development in our company is the addition of a traditional Real Estate Brokerage. As very active Real Estate, Estate and Commercial Auctioneers, we have been able to help many people sell their properties at auction. While the Real Estate Auction business has been and continues to be excellent for us, we felt that we could expand the scope of our services significantly by incorporating a traditional brokerage into our company. We now have a more complete range of compatible services and to more accurately reflect our mission, as of September, 2005 we changed our name from Eric Nathan Auction Company Inc. to Nathan Auction & Real Estate Inc.

We are Realtors and members of the MLS. We know Manchester and the surrounding towns. Fund Raising Auctions

We have been increasingly active in the Fund Raising Auction segment of our business. We conduct successful fund rasing auctions for Schools, Arts Organizations, Community and Social Service Groups and a broad range of philanthropic interests. We conduct these auctions in Vermont, New York City and Fairfield County, Connecticut. We are licensed auctioneers in NYC and this affords us many exciting and wonderful oppottunities. We are a unique a blend of veteran Vermont Country Auctioneer and sophisticated urban professional fundraiser. Real Estate Auctions

We conduct Real Estate Auctions for Banks, Attorneys and Institutions as well as individuals, who need or appreciate the idea a timely transaction. Occasionally, there is a property that has multiple interested parties prior to being offered for sale. This becomes a wonderful opportunity to appreciate the benefits of a Real Estate Auction. We are well versed in Vermont law as it relates to Judicial and Non-Judicial Foreclosure and we provide these services to many Banks and Attorneys state wide. Excellent target marketing, attention to detail, hard work and fair dealing have made us the recognized leaders for Real Estate Auctions in Vermont.

Estate Auctions

We conduct quality Estate Auctions approximately 5 times per year. Over the past 30 years we have had some amazing auctions. Our Specialties are: Paintings and Fine Art; Carpets, Silver, Furniture and Decorative Accessories. Recent notable sales have included a Vermont Landscape by Rockwell Kent –Sold for $99,000 and a world record we proudly hold for American artist Waldo Peirce “Ernest Hemingway Being Served a Drink at Sloppy Joes Bar in Key West Florida” –Sold for $75,600. At our most recent Estate Auction on November 23, 2014, We sold a Paul Henry Landscape for $56,500 to a Gentleman who flew to the auction from Dublin, Ireland to buy it. We focus on well-developed estates and our international marketing has brought us great customers from all over the US and Europe. Single Owner on-site auctions are our specialty.
